Circle The City, “Boston’s first Open Streets initiative connecting people to parks,” is launching on June 24, July 15 and August 5, 2012! View a flyer here. Join the Emerald Necklace Conservancy, the Boston Collaborative for Food and Fitness, LivableStreets Alliance, Franklin Park Coalition, and the City of Boston as we walk, bike, dance and roll on open, car-free streets in and between our parks. Circle The City is free to people of all ages and will feature Franklin Park, Jamaica Pond, the Southwest Corridor Park, and the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Through creating safe, car-free public space on selected streets, we are celebrating the opportunity to get out and play together. June 24, 2012, 1-5pm Franklin Park kick-off featuring free activities for people of all ages and a live performance of the Boston POPS Brass Ensemble July 15, 2012, 11am-4pm Walk, bike, roll and play with us on Open Streets! Featuring a car-free corridor between Franklin Park and Jamaica Pond. August 5, 2012, 10am-1pm Celebrate the city with us along the Rose Kennedy Greenway!
