MAPC Releases New Boston Cycling & Walking MAP, May 14
Join the MAPC for the launch of their newly-updated Greater Boston Cycling and Walking Map, now smart-phone and tablet enabled! The map giveaway and presentation takes place downtown, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on May 14, at MAPC, 60 Temple Place, 3rd Floor, Boston, MA. (RSVP here.) The cycling and walking map, redesigned for 2012, covers more than 100 cities and towns in Greater Boston, showing walking trails, paths, bike lanes, cycle tracks, open space, public transit, roadways and more. On Monday, May 14, MAPC will hand out copies of this free map, and showcase a new Trail Development Toolkit as well as other MAPC initiatives. MAPC will also have a Q&A about Hubway, including opportunities for corporate memberships and information about expanding bike share into Brookline, Cambridge and Somerville. This exciting event is free and open to the public. Doors open @ Noon ~ bring a bag lunch and network with other cycling and walking advocates. Questions?
