Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative (DSNI), in collaboration with residents and a broad range of community-based partners, is seeking to commission a professional artist, artisan, architect, landscape architect, or teams thereof to create artwork for permanent display in the Upham’s Corner neighborhood of Dorchester as part of the exciting increase in transit access along the Fairmount Corridor. In January 2014, DSNI is planning a number of public forums/open houses to hear directly from the finalists. During these gatherings, residents will have the opportunity to learn more about each finalist’s background and plan for this community-led visioning and design process.
